what does everyone get with what comp specs regarding fps on project cars with just the dk2 atm.
they say they will be solving alot of issues for cv1 release.

    i run
    amd fx 8350
    16gb ram
    gtx970 4gb

struggle on low settings to get even 75fps constant when in practice, i know my proc is not quite right and could be my issue so working at changing that n motherboard to intel.
be intresting to hear whats going on with diffrent setups running the project cars.

I only just got PCars and it seems to have a significant impact on FPS even on pretty low settings, which bounce around between 65-75FPS, but I have not had time to look at optimisation - i7-4770, 16gb ram, GTX 970.

It is installed on my brand new VR PC but I have not had a chance to try it out.

Beginning to think either I have a magic combination of CPU, GPU, Motherboard and Ram or I just don't notice frame rates that much.
I am totally immune to any form of motion sickness so no doubt that helps.
I have Pcars set to high on most things, No shadows as they don't work in VR and it runs more than adequately.
There was a large drop in frame rates when I tried 55 cars on the Le Mans track though:)
    Gtx 780, I7 4790K @4.00 ghz 4.4 ghz boost. 16 GB Ram, Z97 Motherboard.

PS. Things you notice in VR.
The puddles are fantastic, If you stop during a downpour by a puddle on the track and get close you notice the bump mapping of the track and the fact that raindrops hit the puddle.

I am curious what FPS you actually have on high settings? I can put my settings up and like you it does not really bother me with the odd bit of judder, but FPS do drop to 30-40.

Good idea, have never bothered to see what the FPS is. I'll find my wheel and what not and see what Pcars actually does. (Unity is getting in the way of game playing and might actually be a bit more fun, heresy I know)

im finding this very intresting as like i say the cv1 will be abit higher res and needs 90fps, i don't get sickness at all no matter what the frames do but it does judder alot. i have now set everything on low and getting on ok with 4 cars on say spa. with a few moments of judder.
i think project cars does not like amd and i mhave an amd board with fx8350 and i think thats prob the biggest problem. going to change to intel soon.
i am really loving the project cars now its kinda working after the new gtx970.

the bit that gets me after awhile is the bouncyness with the motion set running hard to see sometimes. but think its only when the frames lose abit.
