After spending some Hours in my Garage I finished my Sequential Shifter.

This was my first Shifter which was stuck im early Beta Stage for nearly two Years

But this won´t give me a real feeling.

It has only resistance from the spring, when you see a real Sequential Shifter working, you see the Force increases and releases when the gear is locked.

I had some Brainstorming to find a adequate solution.

    Here are some useful parts:
    P1010366.JPG P1010367.JPG

Left : A shockabsorber from a Bike and a hardened shaft with two bearings 5X11x4
Right: Switch with a push rod. This is recommended, caus if you push a micro switch direct you often get a double Signal ( not good shifting two gears up or down at one time ). This is prevented by the push rod. A switch with some Lever will work also.

    Here are the Parts:

    Assembled:

The small bearings are running on ramps ( shown on pic before in the middle)
In the middle a semi circle with a smaller on each side.
The force increases, reaches the peak and releases.

    Here a small Video:

The Ramps are changeble , so its easy to change the character of the shifter.

Not so far away from the original Shifter!

    Cheers
    Kai

    Very nice strong build,
What's your problem in SimTools mate, can we help, or is it setting up the SCN5's the issue.
