    Hallo Xsim,
I would like to extend my DIY Playseat with 2 DOF. At the moment I have only a steel frame with kart seat and Thrustmaster RS500. I bought an Arduino and 3 Monster engine drivers. Now I'm looking for suitable engines with 12V and what else is missing.

What design do you plan to use, as that will affect what motors may or may not be suitable?

They look to be some type of wiper motor.

They would likely work with a design that has a lot of leverage like a foot or shoulder mount, but they are not particularly fast nor as good as what was already recommended for the plan you had put forward, which is a knee mount design.

    Hello,

After my holiday, my simulator is making progress. I ordered 2 motors at Motioncontrol in Australia.
320W 12V Worm Drive Transmission 50: 1 left and right.
    64 rpm, 27 A, 50nm 5,7 kg

Welding of steel pipes has not worked so well.

For the console I ordered 30 of my aluminum profiles and assembled.

    Greeting

    Hello,
    there is news:
The engines were delivered very fast. Could pick her up directly at the customs office. Fee about 100 €

In addition, I have ordered for the base frame 40er aluminum profiles and already got. Cardan joint is from a BMW 3 series. I also made some wood of the basic construction. In the box outside the support the electronics come in.

The smc3 software and the arduino board are already working.

Attached some pictures. Have vacation at the moment and hope I can get a long way.

The software will now use x-plane instead of dirt.

    Greetings from Baden Württemberg
    Dirk
