Okay, as my name states, I have no idea what I’m doing or talking about here..

Long story short I have 2 Logitech g29s and one doesn’t work anymore (fried board, irreparable, I’d have to buy a new board and swap it in or repair the specific mosfets or whatever blew)

Has anyone ever successfully done a belt drive conversion on one of these? Or has anyone ever used the hardware from a g29 to create some sort of Frankenstein belt driven system? I have made a handful of arduino based potentiometer ebrakes and button boxes so I understand the wiring side of this project, the code however I lack in. Hardware wise, I have a lot of scrap aluminum/steel, belts pulleys, any switch/potentiometer you could think of, I only lack the motor portion and the controllers for them I’d assume.

If anyone could direct me to any useful information on what I’m trying to do is greatly appreciate it. I know this is probably the worst way to get a belt driven FFB wheel setup but I have a lot of time, and a lot of parts, so I rather go this route and learn myself than go the other routes. Thank you very much and sorry if this is the wrong place for this!
