Hello guys, I'm new to this forum.
I really want to get into sim racing but with these prices going on it's really hard. I can't even find a decent g25/g27/t150 for less than 200$ used here in Greece. So I have been thinking making my own.
I know they can produce a lot of power but what about quality? How do they compare to the logitech G29's or maybe T300's?
Last, what's the best platform to build one? Arduino or Stm32?

    Thanks Tony.

Hi Tony, I build my own wheel using arduino and recently upgraded to STM32. the motor I use is MY6812 and it produce a nice force, more torque than T300. about the quality, its depend on what material and the software do you use. I use EMC pro software for the wheel because its convenience and the developer always update it till now. and the material, I use the alumunium profile 2020. its enough to hold the torque and give me a flexibility.
this is my wheel setup, and its only cost about 150-180$.
if you can get a used material, its gonna be cheaper.
    Cheers!
