Hopefully they upgrade Dirt3's graphics and give you guys with VR support. However, and maybe I'm the only one with this opinion, I hope they don't upgrade it to Dirt Rally physics. Dirt3 may be a little bit arcade like but I have never liked the motion I can get from Dirt Rally. Its motion just doesn't feel the same as most other games and when I go over a hill and go airborne I can barely feel it even though my rig vibrates like mad when just going down to road. Maybe you hardcore rally racers like Dirt Rally but I just don't play it anymore and I'm sorry I spent my money on it. Dirt3 on the other hand I still play quite often because its just a blast driving buggies, trucks, and the other vehicles it offers and my rig goes up and slams down on jumps (using 150mm heave axis). And with the correct graphics settings its a real treat with 3dvision that I use instead of a VR headset.

It looks like they are mostly just adding some different vehicles and tracks to Dirt Rally and then calling it Dirt4 so you have to buy it again at full price instead of just paying for an upgrade. :roll

Actually there was in the recent interview with Paul Coleman, game designer.

And it's not looking good yet, this was his response to VR question about Vive:
    - "We haven't made any decisions on VR at all for DiRT 4. If we can find a way we will support Vive but it needs to work for the business."

    And another question about VR:
    - "We are focusing on getting the game finished at the moment – we’ll look into VR once that is done. It's a lot of effort to get a game VR-ready, especially when you're offering the whole game in VR (as we do with DiRT Rally), so it's something we will look at after launch."

I cant understand why the Rift would not be ready for it as they already have it all perfectly working in DirtRally all the hard work is done. It uses the same engine and everything so it will be such a let down if they don't include it.

That is true but given the questions posed it may be they are considering multi HMD support and that requires either dual SDKs or using SteamVR.

The Vive is significantly outselling the Rift so unless there is funding from Oculus consideration needs to be given about where the numbers are and where the PC VR market is headed.

Agree, now days I don't bother with any sim titles that don't have VR support.
