I have a question. I have plans to use a 1000w 48v My1020 motor for my Direct Drive setup. Someone mentioned on the Cousin of OSW forum how a certain amount of current is what determines the torque and that I should stick to a 12 volt PSU. Does this mean I can use a single motor driver and it will work, albeit with limited power? Or will it just die unless I use one based on the PSU or Motor? I don't actually plan to use the BTS driver and instead is planning to use the Cytron MD30C driver that someone on here recommended because it didn't die on him, but he was using the 24v 500w My1020. My plan was to get around 3nm or more with no heat issues that I can one day upgrade to increase the torque by adding more drivers, but maybe I am misunderstanding something? Please help, I'm desperate at this point
