    My Motion Simulator:

    I am designing my own rig so I'm trying to recap:
    if we put our rig on a scale what we read is a force measured in Kgf so if we get 100 Kgf, in Newton it is 981 N.
    The mass is M = F/A so M = 981/9,81 = 100 Kg (not Kgf).
    To balance the weight, we need to apply a vertical force F1 of 981 N and that would be static, no movement.
    In order to get an upward movement, we have to apply an additional force F2 and the acceleration will be A = F2/M in meters/seconds^2.
    As regards our rigs the static load is taken by the universal joint, if we have kept it balanced, so we are asking the motors to take care of the additional force F2 only.
    To reach a specific speed V it will take some time, to be calculated as T = V/A but I'm not sure how much this is relevant, I guess that for a realistic simulation it's better to focus on accelerations rather than speed or displacements.
    Please correct me if I am mistaken
