Coupling mcp4 broken

    Hello, the coupling of one of my mcp4 has been broken, the gear seems somewhat hard but I think it could continue to work well, these couplings where you can buy in Europe? I've only seen them in Motion Dynamics but the shipping costs are not worth it and the long wait.
    Is there a way to use a generic coupling with an adaptation?

    It's called a 'spider coupling'. You need to measure the shaft diameter and then hopefully you'll be able to find a retailer that can supply in your area.

    They do not seem the same axis way, mine is like a half circle, I'll keep looking for thanks

    You might struggle to find the exact shaft profile in that case, although I'm pretty sure you can buy the couplings without the shafts pre-drilled so that you could do them yourself or get a local engineering company to machine them. Or alternatively you could buy a normal coupling and use a grub screw to close onto the flat of the shaft of its possible to get access to the coupling when fitted to the shaft. Looking at your photo that might prove difficult though?

    disassembling the mcp4 and assembling before closing again could be put I think, the couplings that come with the mcp4 half-circle shape is deformed with the use and every time there is more free play, it has broken by the blows so strong it gives in the changes of direction with so much slack
