Hey guys, I'm new around here, I've been simracing for about 10 years now.
I just built some diy bass shaker and about to build 2dof.

    correct me if Im wrong,

if I want 2dof + bass-shaker I'll need a pro license, and also need credits (or payment) for downloading the plugins, right?

so if I opt for the easy way to download everything right away, I have to pay $70 for pro license and a €20 for plugin downloads.

is there any other way to give the bass-shaker software a try before buying?
also, if I post some project, and get a free diy license, how much would it cost to upgrade to pro from there?

    thanks guys!

You are correct, there is a revenue sharing arrangement between SimTools (software) and Xsimulator.net (community), which is summarised here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-and-xsimulator-partnership-explained.275/

You do have the option of earning forum activity coins to buy access to plugins: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/coins-and-how-to-download-plugins.2/

Yes you do need a pro license for Game Vibe functionality, the licensing and functionality is detailed here: https://simtools.us/license/

You can upgrade a DIY license to Pro for $29.99, see here for details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/ungrading-a-diy-license-to-pro.292/

thanks noorbeast, 30 bucks for the upgrade sounds good! I'll go the diy way, besides it's what I love, I already built my cockpit, sequential shifter and bass shaker... now I'm going for a 2dof seatmover, just bought 2 wiper motors to get started
