I have idea for my next project, before I build my 2 dof simulator (wiper motor). Joint position should be shifted.. (like slider)
Because, the balance point can not be predicted..
If you have a balanced, then the wiper motor is not too depleted ..
    (sorry for my english)

One idea I've toyed with is to use load cells and linear rails to achieve automatic balance, so that riders of drastically different sizes would always wind up with a balanced frame.

Basically, the idea is this: Hit a button attached to your arduino or what not, it centers the frame w/ the regular motors. The load cells are positioned equal distance from the universal joint: A proper balance should yield identical resistance. If it's different on either side of the universal joint, a single low rpm motor moves the frame (and rider) on the rails until they are equal. Once achieved, the frame is locked in place, and simulation begins.

You actually don't even need an arduino, it could be done with a comparitor and some FETs for some real ghetto action. But, chances are, you have a few free ports on the arduino, and a low RPM motor takes almost no power, you could drive it with a few transistors configured like an h-bridge.

Or use seat rails and a marker pen

    All Right...
for now I can only imitate .. and little innovating
because I already had a arduino, (had success with experiments using 2 mini servo).. the next will buy Monster Moto for Truck wiper and other hunting tools,
..... like the one in the tutorial
I still have much to learn on this site, Thank's for All..
