News ..Cant make simtools to send data to arduino..

    Hi....I cant accomplech the simples task by getting arduino uno to send data to sabertooth ..
    My:
    Axis:
    Roll And Pitch 60% are sets
    interface: Serial Output
    com7 - Bps 9600 -8-none-1 -bit rate 8-Binary
    interface output: XL<Axis1>CXR<Axis2>C-10
    Shutdown-XE00C-10
    arduino 1.81 IDE it been flashed with XPID_Simtool_23:port is at com 7-Bps 9600

    Output test on and the arduino led turn on
    tuning center: shows data moving while slider left and right.
    motors not movement...turn test off.. and the motors run full speed for 2 second and stop...
    I dont see the arduino tx led blink or the sabertooth led rx recieving...
    Arduino pin 8 to send data to sabertooth S1-Dip 2-4 and 5 off..
    help
    What Iam Doing Wrong...??
    ...I have Research the entire site for answer...but all answer are broken in million threats...
    can someone help or direct me to the right place...thanks

    I don't know if the other settings are fine but the interface output in SimTools v2.x should be :
    XL<Axis1a>CXR<Axis2a>C-10
    Shutdown-XE00C-10

    or b if you use the (axis assignment b ) . then save

    What version of SimTools are you using?

    SimTools 2 Input Settings - The difference from SimTools 1.3 to SimTools 2.0 in setup is that instead of axis defined like this <Axis1> it is now like this to designate grouping for a or b <Axis1a>

    I had checked the dip switches in the sabertooth 2x25 100s of time just to be sure is set correctly (1 up-2 dwn-3up-4dwn-5dwn-6up) or 2-4 & 5 off =bps 38400...

    For adding a good picture for the selection of SimTools screenshot ... press print screen on the keyboard then paste it into paint and zoom the required section then select it and right click and Crop then save and upload all the file/s and post reply

    I know it sound nooby...but that setup just complicate things for me....lol sabertooth 2x32 and 2x60 bps is the only mention ...
    how bout the sabertooth 2x25 bps.....!!! and what modification I have to do to SMC3 arduino codes....!!!!
