if you have welding at hand, you can use a steel profile 25x25 and 30x30. here is a photo of my project, the paper with the drawings got lost somewhere. The lower rectangle is 50 by 100 cm. I inserted a 25x25 profile into 30x30 to allow future adjustments for the height of the seat and the length of the pedals. Also, in my case, it seems to me that it is better to place the motor in the front. Take the cardan from the car so that it doesn’t wobble. Before starting assembly, read the forum.

Hi. Thank you for your input. Yes I have welder ready. Went thorough forum few times, I'm kinda type of person who first spend few hrs doing research and then posting. Thanks a lot again. :)

Most here are custom DIY builds, so not a lot of commercial like plans, but there are some very detailed builds plus a great Design section in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/design-considerations-resources.24/category

Including a thread on rig dimensions: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/cockpit-design-dimensions.116/

    Possible design related software: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/design-software.114/

And most importantly tools like SimCalc to help work out appropriate design choices: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/calculating-basic-linear-speed-and-forces.89/

The first step is deciding what specific type of rig design interests you. For example, a 2DOF + traction loss could be a seat shaker, shoulder mount, compact mount, knee mount, or conceivably even a foot mount design.

Some members like @Halloween2go and lately @Kevinski have created prolific and detailed video build tutorials, as they have learned things themselves along the way. Similarly, once you choose a particular design you can search existing builds and ask specific questions about them, as it is much easier to follow a well trodden path than make multiple mistakes.

Still interested with the plan? I have actuator plan with Arduino UNO and slider potentiometer system with DC motor.
