    hello everyone, I would like to create a 2DOF system in aluminum. Does anyone already have plans or bases on which to start?

    Doing some research before getting in too deep is time well spent.

    While some members do provide specific details of their build this is a DIY motion rig community, dedicated to detailing the evolution and sharing of a project, not necessarily drafting plans for replication, though many members are willing to help with ideas and information, based on their experience and expertise.     Irrespective of what path you end up on I would encourage you to spend some time exploring, kicking around and refining ideas as to what you want to build, as even a 2DOF can take many different forms and use very different hardware.

    Once that is determined if you are keen on the DIY path then bounce your ideas and shopping list off members before jumping too far down what can be an expensive rabbit hole, if you get it wrong.

    Use the Search on the Recent page to find similar projects as to what you have in mind.
