    Hi Guys,
I have some good sealed gel wheelchair batteries that I intend using on my soon-to-be 6DOF platform. All the rigs I've seen have multiple power supplies installed. I was thinking of using a single PS and 4-6 batteries instead. My goal is to try to keep the power coming from the wall at a more constant level. Basically running the rig from the batteries and keeping them charged with the PS. It's either that or install a dedicated circuit to run the rig. My home is 75 years old and whomever did the electrical updating prior to me buying it did not do a great job of load leveling. My wife mentioned that some of the lights flicker when I'm riding the P3 that I have.
    Thanks,
    John

    yes this should work

the batteries act like a capacitor also and absorb the regenerative currents

I se 2x car batteries at 24V and have a power supply that keeps them topped up

there are several hundred amps available in an instant

Thanks for that. I have 4 wheelchair batteries and their associated charger. Or I can keep them charged with a 500w Meanwell.
