    Hi all, would someone please explain in brief; the viability of using brushless motors over Brushed.

    I know they are more expensive, but some are in a more compact design, and I'm looking to make a very compact sim.

    Any understanding would be helpful.

    Bldc is more efficient and got a much higher lifetime.

    Hi Adgun, thank you for the reply,
    so motor drivers is one of the questions I'm leading to;
    I've been told conflicting information, (not from this forum) Brushless Motors need special drivers,
    Is this true of false?
    One says any DC motor can be driver with; say sabertooth?
    whether its brushed or brushless.

    You need a bldc driver for a bldc motor, sabertooyh wont work
