Brush Detangler, and Pot/Encoder control on Negative-G sim..

    Hi, I'm planning/designing a negative-G simulator I intend to build within the upcoming months...
    I desperately need some advice as I'm completely new to Power Electronics! (Though I'll be studying! I have tons of books)

    Is there a cord detangler like this one already on the market? I'd really like to know, it would save me a whole load of work melting polypro pellets...

    I'll be getting all of my parts from AnaheimAutomation.com. Are they alright? I'm thinking of using two BDSG-60-105 motors to flip two passengers (left or right respective to the passenger's POV). They'll be attatched to a 1-meter-diameter-circle of 2cm square tubing via a v-belt. (ugh, I'm going to need more technical images to describe this...) I'm thinking they should be okay, provided I use a Left/Right balance adjustment rail for moving the seats to compensate for weight differences between passengers.

    Also, Is there a better way to keep motion tracking on the cabin? I don't know of any infinately rotatable pots... then again... I'm not the best electrician! :p
    Would this solution work? (As I swallow my pride regarding my un-knowing...) (and how might I go about implementing it...?)

    How reliable is the wifi connection between computers? I'd rather not have to do an ethernet brush detangler... :eek:

    Lots of work to do on my free time... I better get back to modelling...

    And one more thing BDSG-60-105 motor has 15W ! Thats is lees than what have one motor in G25 wheel. Its not enought (even two or three ! ) for moving two persons (even if you would have it in balance it would be very slow ! )

    P56SG623 <-- How about two of these for flipping? I'm redesigning my simulator as a 4-passenger. It's coming along smoothly in Blender. I do plan on releasing the design as Open Source; also consulting with a lawyer before I begin building (April 2010?) about simulator/ride laws. (However, until I implicitly give it an Open Source license, it will remain my intellectual property...) Can you imagine? A simulator project similar to reprap.

    Yep. I'm a goon, and I have no idea just what I'm stepping into. That's what makes it fun.

    Today I contacted Moog about my rotary joint... Let's just hope it's under $100 to pass 120V AC(<5kW) and ethernet. I'm awaiting a response.
