    Hello
2nd year mechanical engineering student, I was wondering if there are any good books about how to design a motion simulator...

So far in my search I've come up with book that deals with different degree of fredom in context of robotics or only focus on the Stewart platform but I want a book that focus on all types of degree of fredom in context of flights or cars

    Any recommendation would be nice
    Thanks :)

Keep in mind that designing a motion rig is not a one size fits all proposition, and even how you tune a motion rig differs depending on the constraints of the rig design. All motion rigs are a compromise and its easy to forget the purpose of a motion rig is not really about recreating real world forces, but rather to generate enough accepted cues to exploit psychological and physiological processing weaknesses.

It is not a book, or a design guide, but likely you will find the member discussion regarding FlyPT filters interesting, in particular @Dirty's videos: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/flypt-filter-research-and-video-guide.374/
