Thats nifty, I hope there is one set up at the video game expo later this year to see.
On another point, I reckon a plugin for a FPS game would be interesting to try with a seat mover sim. (hint hint)
I had started to experiment with finding data out of Duke Nukem Forever and got a base line motion. But the "other" software I was using didnt really support that.

I can't understand how the walking motion works? How the rolling motion turns to one direction motion?

At a guess rollers would turn the underside belts and this would give a speed of the movement and the above sensors pickup on the direction the player is moving in , combined would then produce the in game movement.
    Nicely done.
    Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

    Hi
I think you wear special shoes that are sensed, and the rollers allow you to walk / run without moving,
For a platform sim Hawken looks promising.
    regards Terry

Thought the video mentioned 10 overhead sensors track the position ? could be wrong.

Nice! 1000 times better than the gamepad :)
Of course you have to be highly trained to complete some levels gioco.Come does the base under the feet?

What if I use something like step counter for speed of walk and for direction of movement i'll take something like Kinect? Or all together with Kinect ? without all the mechanic stuff ?

I suppose but I think the mechanical stuff is trying to make it feel more like you're walking around instead of walking in place, without the danger of tripping on a table or something.
