Batteries?

    Hi all!

    for my simulator (in developement) i use a 24 V 500W motor. the golden question is:

    what is the ceapest solution to have it running? i didnt find anything under 170 euro...

    Hi Igor,

    You can use two cheap car batteries connected in row to get the 24volts.

    Two 50 or 60Ah car batteries should not cost you more than 100euro... :thbup:
    And there is also the matter, that you need battery charger... (another 40 - 60euro)

    My 100Ah 12v battery is sealed type and still got it for 100euro... 8)

    hi!

    what worries me about the car batteries is that there might be lack of acid. my father would kill me.

    i have found these: http://www.alcapower.it/shop/product_in ... cts_id=152

    but they are dead after an hour and 2 of them including charger cost 201 euro + shipment.

    solved! on saturday i get two free sealed car batteries.. :D hope they are still in a good shape.. :D

    i already have a battery charger but it is an old one.. ill post the specs this eavening and lets see.. :)
