I purchased a pair of base stations and a vive tracker 2.0 from ebay.
The seller on ebay is certain they work as he used them on a reverb G2.

On pi tools the tracker is paired but one of the lighthouses blinks BLUE. It just will not sync on either pi tools, Pimax play or STEAM vr.

I change the frequency to B & C on the light house and only ONE of the two lighthouse will work.

It is random, soon as the right one syncs the left one blinks lol, when the left one syncs, the right one starts blinking haha.

The light house are mounted securely in front 2 corners , 1.3 metres apart and 2 metres from the ground pointing at an angle of 35 degrees to the VR headset.

I have deleted the lighthouse.jsn file in the program data folder.

So to confirm , each light house is mounted in the corner. so both pointing towards the headset.
Is there a possibility the infrared of each base station is crossing over and causing interfearance?

Reflections, like widows or reflective surfaces, can create interference, which may be one possibility to explore, particularly if the issue shifts between base stations.

Base station vibration could be an issue, how are they mounted?

They are mounted securely. 2 metres off ground; angled perfect 35 degrees.

I have now decided to use only one station for sim racing.

So I have set the base station to channel A. It is now tracking _ stable blue icon on pimax. the vive tracker is also working.

however in steamVR it says HEADSET not tracking.
Even in pi tools and pimax play it says "not tracked" under the head set.

Could there be something wrong with the pimax 5K?

I am happy to use just one base station. Is this allowed through the software?
