    Hello Guys,
I am opening a new Post for a specific issue that I am facing here, it may be helpful for others as well.

I was having trouble programming my ATMEGA8535-16 using the AMC board. This way Thanos told me to buy the STK500 external USB programmer..it arived yesterday and I need a little hel...

I did some tests using AVR Studio (software that came with STK), but I dont know the correct procedure for programming the PIC using this software...I have only the instructional videos from Thans explaining Ponyprog..could someone please HELP me???

I dont know if I am in the right track, but when I go to Auto Connect... AVR Studio says:

    Setting Mode and Device Paramters...OK!
    Entering Programming Mode..OK!
    Reading Fuses . 0xD9, 0xE1, ..OK!
    Leaving Programming Mode.. OK!

How can I set the fuses properly? Where do I get the latest firmware for the 18Mhz Crystal? I cant choose BOOTSZ1 and BOOTSZ0 at the same time on AVR Studio (only one at a time allowed), as instructed for Ponyprog... What should I do next??

PS: I have two AMC boards, one of them I tried to flash the hex file and it gave me a message saying something like Wrong Fuses..., and after that I could not Auto Connect on that board anymore..the other board is Entering the Program mode ok, but I am afraid to set the wrong configuration and mess things up ...

PS again: I will make a full DIY post when I finish my sim explaining in details the whole project ..so far I have a post at basic-2dof-configuration-and-faq-t1555-40.html

I appreciate any help..thanks in advance
    regards
    Caue
