    Hi,

I got a copy of Assetto and it seems a fun game but when playing it on the rift I get a lot of brightness issues.
I know you can manually adjust this with Pg Up and Pg Dn buttons but I wondered if there is a setting to turn off the auto exposure?

You can turn auto exposure off in the config files:

Find this in your Steam folder - assettocorsa/system/cfg open the files ppeffects and colorCurves.

You can disable autoexposure in ppeffects - [AUTO_EXPOSURE] ENABLED=0

In colorCurves you can adjust the exposure when autoexposure is turned off. HDR_OFF_MULT=0.8
mine is set to 0.8, tweak that until you find what suits you best.

Also use SweetFX, it makes a huge difference for Assetto Corsa with the Rift and again you can tweak it to your liking: https://forums.oculus.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5042&start=700#p232625

For anyone using SweetFX with Assetto Corsa the V1.3 broke support. The fix is easy, replace the old 32Bit dll with this 64Bit one.

If you are not using SweetFX with Assetto Corsa then do yourself a favor and give it a go, as it makes a big difference to how you can tailor and optimise the Assetto Corsa graphics: https://forums.oculus.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5042&start=700#p232625
