arduino without psu

    I was wondering if I need to power the arduino with a psu or if the 5v 500ma from the usb will be enough?

    Iv tryed to search for this but couldn't find anything, probably been dumb.

    To power arduino it is enough but if you are going to add hardware you will need a source to power everything
