I got a couple motor andGear boxes that I like to make a 2DOF full sim rig made of extruded aluminum. I think they should work, but I was trying to find the gear boxes on-line and cant seam to find the same ones. but I am able to find the motors threw Grainger. https://www.grainger.com/product/DAYTON-DC-Permanent-Magnet-Motor-4Z143
some of the specks are 12/24 v RPM 1750-3900 HP 1/7.
I count the gear ratio and its 20:1 it spins at 9o RPM at 12v and 170 at 24V.
I was going to give them a try at 12v but think it work a lot better at 24v with a 50:1 ratio.
New member here thought I get your insights.

Thanks I had looked at that calculator. But was unsure how to figure motor torque. The motor torque is 5.63 in/lb. So would I take that times 20 my gear box ratio. Then divide by 12 to convert in/lb. to Ft/LB so 5.63 X 20= 112.6/12 = 9.38 ft/lb of torque ?
