I don't understand Deutch. But i bet you search 3D drawning with blender, is it that?
I often use blender to make 3D photos.I have making and drawning my simulator with blender too

    Hi Max,

we look for persons, who are able to design and construct virtuel 3D models, doesn´t matter which program will be used for it.

I know blender as a very powerful software for designing and animating 3D objects. It would be great if you could design a platform like this:
    6dof.jpeg

We need the model for the x-sim software and also for our new forum, as part of the header and logo.
You see, your sketch would get a popular place in the web ;)

Do you want to help us?

    kind regards
    René

    Hi Max,

Would be great if you could render an alumium look to it.

You could use the racing seat you see in the forum's logo. As well you could have a racing wheel.
Is blender capaple to import .stp files?

    Regards

ok all faces in aluminium it's possible.
So you want to i make a cockpit on the platform? seat+wheel+pedals?
I'm going to look if blender can export in .stp files, a script python might do that...
 why you want it in .stp files?

    Hi Max,

maybe you can make 2 versions, one with a little cockpit with wheel, shifter, pedals etc, and one version nude, so that the mechanic is well to see, and everyone can image how it works.

*.stp files are a well known standards for 3D CAD constructions. We can use them for converting your model into a construction with physical correct movements and inverse kinematic. Than, we would be able to implement your 6DOF platform as a 3D model into the x-sim Software. That model would reacts like a real 6DOF Simulator and simulates all the movements, bevor it is really build up. ;)

    kind regards, René

    Hi Max,

is there any progress in building the 6DOF model? I dont wanna push you...too much :D
I only want to make our website and forum more attractive. Your 3d model would help a lot.

At http://www.x-simulator.de/wiki you can take a first look at the new x-simulator wiki.

    kind regards
