The most is original Frex material since i had a Simconmotion but sold it for some reasons. I sold only the actuatos and the Simconmotion/ Simconbase, the rest i used now.
Using an old Laptop to control the Scn5.

Nice work. I too would like to hear your opinion of the X-Sim powered vs Frex powered movement / realism. In my opinion, Frex forgot to account for the fact that a real race car is a rough / wild ride. The springs are stiffer, the car is lowered, there is less travel, the tires are low profile and absorb less shock, etc... I've never seen a Frex video that appears to accurately reporduce what I feel in the real thing, but haven't driven a Frex so .....tell us please..

Bernard, the only difference i see between <frex and x.sim at the moment is that x_Sim is more stable but harder to config ... i got all the ruffness and shakes etc in my scm also, but never wanted it since i am not a bodybuilder with a neck made of steel. Time will tell.

How about uploading some profiles for others to try out in the X-Sim 2 Profiles thread. Last I knew, mine was the only one there, and I have no Frex experience.

    Hi Ringo,

    great looking sim !!!
It's like a déjà-vu to me: I'm using the same screen (28), the same wheel and the same sound system :D !
Pictures will follow as soon as possible - I'm building up my new sim at the moment, but I'm at the very beginning... (you can take a look at my sim diary in another thread here - I will post the latest steps today).

    Regards,
    Chris

Good vids. I can see why you are using an accel value of 220. Looking at this, I'm not sure that 100mm users and 150mm users will be able to share profiles.

Did one at Lowes with the mazda, seems that the surface in iracing is modelled really good with these laser scanners, the oval is flat as a tennis court, summit is a washboard. I didnt use the Profiler Plugin for the summit track, calibrated one complete new.
