I have 4 Earthquake MQB-1 and need an amplifier. I am looking for a very economical solution, for now.
I am thinking of using 2 of these amplifier boards, with this power supply. I would think 50 watts would be more than enough to drive the transducers a good percentage of their capabilities.

Has anyone have experience using amplifier boards for vibration?

I should add, I found the MQB-1 on Amazon for $131.44.

    Thanks,
    mp

Thanks @noorbeast, those specs are the Q10B, but the same logic applies. I am currently using Aura Pro Bass Shakers, 50 watts, connected to a 150 watt Dayton amp and running them full power (about 50% level setting) is to intense.

I considered using the Dayton amps but they are 4 ohm, unless bridged, then I can only use 1 shaker. You think I can connect them to the amp without damaging the amp?

    Power Handling: MQB-1
    15 - 50 Hz
    8-Ohm
    20 - 500 Watts

The amp ohm and shakers ohm should match.

Never heard of the brand but seems pretty cheap for the claimed specs.

You may want to consider adding a low pass filter to the mix.

    Thank you for your recommendation.
I ended up going with this amplifier. https://www.newegg.com/technical-pro-ax2000/p/0WP-000R-00052
When I received it, I removed the cover and looked up the data sheet for the output transistors. There are (2) 100 watt output transistors on each channel. It is a simple amplifier, nothing fancy.
It works great with the MQB-1. They hit hard and the volume is about 80%.

im using 2 car amps 4x100 watts but in 4 ohms its under 50 watts. more than suficient for aura shakers ( 50w each )its a budget price, you should buy an 12v 30a power supply too

you may get a better experience using vibration motors and solenoids

I would like to learn more about this. I have thought about using motors. Any documented guides?
