    hey guys,

So it seems that the pololu 12v12 is a good unit for controlling motors, but it is out of stock and in backorder until April.. so are there any simple alternatives to the pololu system for motor controllers?

I'm good with computers but not with electronics so the simpler it is.. the better.

With the alternatives... how are they wired and connected up?

Before the pololu was available how did everyone connect these things up?

from what i can understand you need to go from PC to motor controller to dc motor and the motor controller also has a power supply connected to it and a pot for position feedback.. right?

    any information is muchly appreciated!

    Hi,
I don't know if i'm able to reply correctly but i thik you have:

    The pc>motion controller>H-bridge>dc motors.

Also the motion controller>servo controller>potentiometters(they read/send the actual position).

    And H-bridge>12v battery.

Actualy i'm drawing a sketch of it for better visualization and it get better and better.

Look at this than you will find the schematic made by Thanos.

I'm not 100% sure about it, but may be that's right!

I hope it can help u a bit.

By the time you complete and troubleshoot the AMC, the jrk will be in stock. :)

In the meanwhile make everything else and get your sim ready for electronics.
