Alternative G-seat mechanism?

Anyone tried the concept of a g-seat using something like this?

Wonder what the reaction speed would be and if it'll be controllable by an arduino.. would be a cheap alternative it it would work and easier to integrate for me.

The couple pictures on that alibaba listing show 4-6 control wires. There's definitely something there to control, but I would guess that they already have a microcontroller in the main box, since there are more pneumatic pads than control wires - so it might end up being a pretty exhaustive gut and replace. About the only way to really check would be to buy one.

Been thinking of a G-seat for months now and following all DIY threats here by the letter.. But since I have a Playseat Challange and portability is key for me, the proposed builds never really suited me. That made me think about something like a pneumatic version. Never seen the link you provided before, much appreciated.

Low and behold.. its the exact same setup (except the flying part lol) I got so very keen on following the project and see the material list and more detailed instructions by the builder.
It looks like a promissing low cost portable solution with potential!
