    Hello everyone,

I just replaced a router, simtools game engine recognized the IP address of the new router, I also manually changed the ip address in the game manager, but after entering the game, I found that SCN5 can not be driven.

And on the previous router everything worked perfectly. I think I adjusted everything I know should be adjusted, just changed all the ip addresses.

Then I switched back to the original router, changed the ip address back again, and everything was fine.

Does anyone know what is going on? I want to use a new router, so I want to solve this problem.

Please help me, thank you very much.

For stand alone the norm is 127.0.0.1 and games need to be repatched if there is an IP change.

If my computer is not connected to the network and any routers, the IP address I see when I open SIMTOOLS is 127.0.0.1.

But when I connected a router, I saw a new IP address in the upper right corner of the SIMTOOLS game engine, which became 192.168.0.1XX.

At this point I have to manually change all the IP addresses in the game manager to this in order to run the seat.

But when I changed a router, I did the same thing, but I couldn't run the seat.

Not only did I restart the game, but I also restarted the computer several times and restarted SIMTOOLS, but unless I switched back to the previous router, it still couldn't run on the new router.

As I said earlier games need to be repatched if there is an IP change, have you done that?

Hello everyone, I think I have found a solution.

This is the case, I tested some games, such as: AC, ACC, DR, DR2.0, PC2, RF2, GRID AUTOSPORT, FORZA7, F1 2018

Not all games can't drive the seat properly after changing the router and changing the IP address.

For example, AC, ACC, PC2 is no problem. Under normal circumstances, changing the IP address does not affect the game.

But like DR, DR2.0, GRID AUTOSPORT (and possibly other CODEMARSTER games) and FORZA7, the games I tested didn't drive the seats after changing the IP address.

Then I need to re-patched these games in the game manager.

There is no need to delete and reinstall the game plugin, just re-patching after changing the IP address, 100% can solve the problem. However, FORZA7 still needs more settings.

At the moment, I only found out that these games need to be done. Coincidentally, if the regional language of the computer system is not set to "English (United States)", these games will make the seat tremble, I don't know if there is any correlation, or Related to these game plugins.

I hope my experience can help everyone.
