    Hello!
I already made my diy 2dof sim with wheelchair motors. Thanks for everyone Who had helped me To get it work!
Now i have started To think making a 4dof sim with actuators. How fast should actuators be and what is the cheapest price For those?
How does actuators work In simulator? My 2dof has potentiometers but how about with actuators? Do they need actuators too, Or something Else?

They can work the same. Note that you need much more power than with a rocking on a ujoint. I don’t think te wheelchair motors are enough.

Visit https://opensfx.com/ for a detailed design you can use or modify. This is my next step but I won’t so it the way they did because the 100x100 extrusions are hard to find and expensive. AC servos are cheaper now lots of off brands work, I tried to do this with a DC motor but the back EMF is a killer .
