    Hi all.

    I have an itch to make a DD FFB wheel (I already have the Fanatec Clubsport V1 pedals) and am looking for motors to use.

    I came across these garage shutter motors that have massive amounts of torque, up to 1600Nm on certain models but the rotational speed is really low, from 6-15 RPM.

    Would these be a viable option if I just used the motor and instead of DD use a gear system to raise the RPM?

    Specs as follows for a middle of the road central motor model;
    Torque - 160Nm
    230 V AC
    2.7 Amps
    14 RPM

    I may be barking up the wrong tree, apologies!
