While searching for materials to build a simulator I ran across this website I want to share, dealerselectric.com

For example, you can buy a .33HP motor / VFD package for $152.00.
    http://dealerselectric.com/third-HP-1800-RPM-115-Volts-Input-Package-2.asp

They have .75HP motors for $100. If someone knows what a good combination motor / VFD for a 3DOF simulator, please respond. I am not the best at physics and I am still trying to work out the math.

I would also like to add http://www.surpluscenter.com.

They have reasonably priced gear reducers, pillow and flange bearings, and rod ends. Building a 3DOF motion simulator is looking closer to my price range.

I would also like to recommend checking out the famaga store. It has reasonable prices and great range of items.
