What is the proper setting in the AASD15A for 250mm/s actuator speed. Thanks, Doug

@beas Hi Doug... Welcome to the forum..
I am not 100% sure but parameter Pn98 will affect speed.
Pn51 is set to the maximum rpm your motor is rated at.
    I have mine set @ 2500 ie. Pn51 is set to 2500.
Most people are looking for maximum possible speed and then "slowing it down" when needed with the Spike filter.
Are you using the Thanos AMC-AASD15a controller?

The Thanos controller has settings to get the rotation of the motor to equal a certain distance that the linear actuator will move.

The actual speed you get is dependent on how much weight the actuator must lift.
And the max rpm of your motor it can deliver at so many pound of torque.
So unloaded will be faster than having to lift 100lbs ect...
And the pitch of your lead screw has major effect.

Not sure if this helps or not but I gave it a try. :):):)

The 250mm/s speed depends on your actuators. If they are 1605 leadscrew like the SFX-100, they are 250mm/s , but you could use 1610 leadscrew that gives 500mm/s if you want longer stroke actuators (like 400mm stroke ones for Stewart 6DOF).

On the AMC menu, the 5mm leadscrew is the 1605 or 250mm/s

And the 10mm leadscrew setting is for 1610 or 500mm/s actuators.

Thank you. I have the PT Mega Actuators @250mm/s. So I'll set it to 5mm
