Hey all. So I currently have a DOFreality motion setup. It is really great for the price, no doubt, and a good entry into motion, but the problem is that I've bought a ready-built solution and not had to learn any of the inner workings myself!

I have a spare go kart frame that would be modded to hold my wheel, pedals, etc easily enough. I'm not the best welder, but I manage, so fabrication is not a concern. If using a go kart frame to do a low-ish profile 6dof setup would work, I'd love to try to attempt it. Time, money, and willingness to learn...I've got that. What I don't have is a clue where to start for the electronics nor the knowledge on whether using a go kart frame would even be feasible for a 6dof system.

I've had to use SMC32 to recalibrate the motors on my DOFreality system, so I'm somewhat familiar with that process, but really green overall. Anyway...hi everyone!
