    6DOF
Hi - I've been searching the forum looking for the answers but decided to ask the question.

    I'm building a 6DOF Sim.
My questions is - is there a ratio of upper and lower platform size relative to the length of the linear actuators?
For instance can my upper and lower platforms be 2ft wide if my linear actuators are 3ft long?

If so would I be able to change my upper and lower platform width to lets say 4 ft, and keep the same 3ft long linear actuators?

BTW - is there a 6DOF design tool out that I can view or DL from this site ?

    Thank you!
