    My Motion Simulator:

    Hi,

    My 6DOF motion rig for racing is now complete.

    The rig is based on a RSeat RS1.
    Modified with some aluminium reinforcement to support the "link" bases.
    Motors: Omron servo motors 400W/3000rpm (Encoder resolution: 8388608/rev)
    Servo Drives: Omron 1s EtherCAT
    Motion Controller: Omron NX1P2, running at 2ms primary task
    Gears: Apex dynamics planetary gears PEII90 ratio 1:50
    Mountingplate for Gears: 10mm black steel
    Base: Pipes 80x100mm 5mm thick of black steel
    Levelarms: Aluminium, length (mounted on gear axle): 100mm


    Wheel: Fanatec CSW 2.5 with CSL elite P1
    Pedals: Fanatec CSP V3
    Shifter: Fanatec ClubSport SQ V1.5

    Software: Simtools V2.4 sending 6DOF raw to the motion controller on ethernet UDP
    The inverse kinematics are programmed in the motion controller.
