    Hey guys,

So, I started my 6DOF project and I thought it could be useful to create a thread about it. I want to avoid costly mistakes hehe. If you see anything wrong or suspect, tell it please !

    I plan to get : AMC AASD15A - RGB V1.4 as a controller

    80ST-M02430 as actuators

    AASD15A as drivers

    Thrust Master T-16000M as joystick

I don’t know if reducers are useful or not in this case, or should I go for linear actuator ?

--> I think I will just go for rotating actuator without reducers

Are RFI online filters mandatory ?

If you could give me advice about the electronic part, I would appreciate. Like the power supplier and stuff like that (a little diagram is not refusal). I saw some people uses switches, but I don’t think it’s useful in my case.

Btw, I will use Mover and mainly control the whole platform directly with the joystick.

    Thanks per advance !

You will need a gearbox/ballscrew attached to the servo motors, refer to the many examples detailed in the Project threads. AC servos normally can run directly from your house power - separate power supply not required.
