    My Motion Simulator:
    6DOF
    Hi all, I'm Tyler.

I am a flight sim and racing enthusiast. Mostly I play DCS world and IL2 in VR. To me a platform is the next and ultimate step for immersion.

This is my first simulator platform of any kind. But when I do things I tend to do them, if you know what I mean?.... Anyway, I have zero knowledge of coding or motion cueing or anything to do with how simulators work, its mostly magic to me with the exception of the mechanical part. I would like to understand everything though. I am a mechanic so that's the easy part. Also, I have zero experience with CAD. I realize I have a steep learning curve ahead of me but I'm committed to see this through.
Anyway, I'd like to build a rig similar to peacemakers/silent chills.

I have already purchased the 90ST M02430 Servo/Drivers, Thanos AMC controller and SFU2510x600mm ballscrews with drive couplers and FK20 bearing supports. The motors/servos and Thanos controller I have and the ballscrews will be delivered early next week.
I plan on 3D printing a lot of the parts for the first design and then maybe making them out of aluminum after the kinks are worked out. I have an Ender 5 Plus for the printing.

Well anyway, that's where I'm at for now. If anyone is interested I was thinking about detailing the build process on here.

And if anyone is available to help, I'm sure I'll need some along the way.

    Cheers
