@DotComRich Excelllent work! i also have a Simetik K2, i was thinking going SFX-100, any chance you can send me a PM with all the parts and dimensions you got so you could add the actuators to the chassis? Please? it is pretty much the only thing that keeps me from adding motion

    2x https://us.misumi-ec.com/vona2/detail/110302690310/?HissuCode=HFSB8-4080-635
    4x https://us.misumi-ec.com/vona2/detail/110302690310/?HissuCode=HFSB8-4080-200

Then some nuts and 4x long bolts to go through the front of the frame and some short ones for the back. Can't remember the exact length I used. You can opt for more brackets as well if you want to put some on the inside of the cockpit for maximum sturdiness but I don't think its needed, maybe at the back where it's thin could help but I honestly don't notice any issues.

Thank you so much! do you remember the alu profile lengths or the values are correct in the links you sent (635mm and 200mm)?

Ok the wood is finally starting to give, its time to start planning my next TL platform. I want to make a simple T shaped base for it to slide on but I am having a tough time finding a material to use that I can get custom cut that will be strong enough, any recommendations?

I need it to be roughly 1300mm length, 200mm width

Was looking to go with something like this but it wouldn't ship until the end of Aug, I can't wait that long lol.

Been working on a new custom aluminum extrusion TL platform, here she is. Rolls smooth as butter and is surprisingly quiet. This setup is going to give me nearly double the amount of movement over my wooden platform, can’t wait! Will post more details on it later.

All done! Feels much smoother and more rigid than my old wood platform. Also has a much smaller footprint, 6” lower and fits nicely in this corner.

Also got all the electronics, servo drivers, pc etc behind the wall to keep things cleaner.
