Hi guys, I have bought 4 projectors and I would like to have some suggestion with their use around a car simulator .

My projector 's panels are four (4:3) 100" panels .

Have you seen around any setup based on 4 projectors ?

    Thanks!

Have a chat with @Pit when he is online, if I recall he messed around with 3 projectors and Nvidia 3D.

    Hi marco

Since NVIDIA Surround is supporting 3 displays for driving plus one additional display (only desktop use) I had such a configuration running on my rig for the past years. Since I am on VR I disassembled the displays though. I was using 3D VISION and it was impressive. Even in comparison with the Pimax 5k+ its still very immersive. Playing under 3DVISION you need a NVVIDA graphic card, 3DVISION Kit 2, shutter glasses not made by nvidia (because of the hacks, i used one from VIVITEK) and 120Hz projectors. If you do not use 3DVISION you are fine with just one fast graphic card and your projectors. Multiple projectors can also to be used to blend into a single image by building a curved screen.

Agree. When I first started using 3d Vision with TrackIR I was blown away by the immersion. When I first started using hmd VR afterwords it was more or less what I expected so it wasn't near as impressive as the move from flat screen to 3d w/ head tracking.

    Hi!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and setup !

My 4 projectors are very cheap.
    I have a 2080ti video card.
    I have a pimax 8k . Cheers for that :)

Is there any way to have 4 projectors instead of 1 monitor and 3 projectors?

Do you have a step by step tutorial for that?

I am also looking to use the 4 projectors to create a rectangular shaped dome for non vr games/regular PC and console games and for racing , would be worth 4 projectors or just having 3 is enough?

    Thank you again!

Nvidia surround supports up to 3 displays only. BTW 3DVISION is no longer supported by Nvidia, you have to use older driver releases. I assume your projectors does not support 120hz, so 3DVision is no option in your case.

    no

IMHO 3 are enough, other solutions are way too expensive or too difficult to realize.
