Hi all, I got the traction loss working, all seems to be fine so far, tested with SMC3 utility. Anyway, the SimTools GameEngine does not connect to the second interface (Axis3). Any suggestions are very welcome.

And how can I assign the third axis to Extra1?

PS: Interface1 works. Interface2 is the new controller.

I could isolate the issue. If I set Axis1 to the second interface same as the first interface, it works. So perhaps it could be a SMC3 related issue...?

hmm, made all right for now but I cannot assign the third axis. As I said before SMC3 works and can communicate to the Arduino, but that's as far as it goes.

When I start Output Testing the LED of the Arduino is giving light, so there is a communication but nothing else...

Hi @Pit, Am I correct in assuming you are using one Arduino for all three Axis?

If that is true, you only want the one interface setup in Simtools using the COMM Port that connects to the Arduino.

The Output string setting will be: [A<Axis1>][B<Axis2>][C<Axis3>]

Hi @RufusDufus, I am using TWO Arduinos, one Axis 1&2, the second Axis3...?

    OK...

Have you tried setting the Simtools output for the new interface to: [C<Axis1>] (Note use Axis1 but don't change the Axis1 profiles) I know its not correct but if it makes the motor move it helps zero in on where the problem may be.

No, I was using [C<Axis3>]...as usual. But [C<Axis1>] makes sense. Hope this works...thank you.

[C<Axis3>] is correct... I just wanted you to test the other to see what happens - if it makes the motor moves it may help pinpoint the problem!

Edit: what game are you testing traction loss with?
