    Hi friends !!!
    Greetings from Navarra, Spain
I'm still starting in this world... Although I've been looking at simulators for many years, but I've been told that it can be done in moderate humidity.

But there is a problem, the more I read the more doubts I have! I have knowledge of real car mechanics and home electricity, but electronics I am completely null.

After reading a lot and watching hundreds of videos, I really know what I want...
A DOF3 loss of traction car racing simulator based on rear wheels,
specifically something similar to this in the structure and type of driving, I'm in love

    This similar estructure: https://opensimracing.com/products/super-sport-motion-rig-25-series-plans?variant=28421719425

I am going to make the base in heavy steel, very stable and resistant, and the seat platform in aluminum
to lighten weight and that the motors suffer as little as possible,
I weigh 65kg, but I need power and sensation,
I want to race in rally and circuit racing

    I have no space problems
I don't even know where to start... First I want to start with the "mechanics", select type of motors, power supplies etc, but I don't know what items I need!!

Could you help me select the necessary parts?
I would appreciate it from the heart

I promise to upload photos, videos and manufacturing information of the entire process

I don't want to buy twice... That's why I want to buy three powerful motors from the beginning,
with an independent power supply for each motor
I want to start with the motors I have read a lot but I still have more doubts: Dc 24V 400W 50:1, Wheelchair motor etc.. I dont know... Any link aliexpress o ebay please??I've been searching for days and I'm totally lost...
Thank you very much in advance mates!!!!

That is @Avenga76's rig, the build thread is here: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/my-3-dof-seat-mover-gs-4-simvibe.5596/

Many of us started in the same position, with a dream and lots to learn.

Before buying anything spend some time researching and understanding design Vs physics and what is required to drive a rig, SimCalc can help get your head around that: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...e-linear-speed-and-forces-of-your-design.270/

Check out the FAQs, in particular see the SimTools, fundamentals of motion and the design sections: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/

You can go through existing member projects for specific ideas or inspiration: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/forums/diy-motion-simulator-projects.22/

Or search for specific types of projects using the Google Custom Search function on the Recent page: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/find-new/posts?recent=1

If something sounds odd then look it up in the glossary: http://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/glossary-of-acronyms-and-names.66/

Most wheelchair motors are purchased second hand of the likes of Ebay, they are likely a bit of overkill spec wise for this particular design, but a good choice cost wise if you can get them at a bargain price.

    Good luck with your project.

    @noorbeast

Thank you very much for answering!!
After reading a lot of post
I have already decided on these motors:

    https://es.aliexpress.com/item/32902109090.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.2e1463c0TU9sLS
    250W
    24W
    4200rmp
    120rmp
    40:1
    24Nm
    or

    250W
    24V
    3000rpm
    120Rpm
    25:1
    20 Nm

    What do you think Master?
I hope to see decided well!!
I have no idea what else I need :)
The design is with thrust on the shoulders and loss of traction.

I have also bought my first driving set, it is already ordered, it is a fanatec kit

    CSL DD 8Nm
    Pedals V3
    Thanks!!
