    Hi all.

I am trying to balance a 3dof platform rig aso i can equal the weight across the 4 actuators best i can to keep the actuator balanced.
I have found the centre balance of the rig but unsure where the actuator would be fixed to chassis frame. i take it it should be equal distance from the centre balance point and same for the front?
    Would that be correct ?
So front to centre of balance point and then the rear centre balance point same distance as the front is to the balance point , actuator gets placed at them distances from centre.
I am after the basic balance point for me in the seat.
The system is 4x hyperaxis one each corner.
But its where i need to place them is what i need to do and get an equal balance to share the weight to help with speed so they all do the same thing too heavy front means noticed slow lifting to the rear if its lighter say as example.
Am i right in thinking what i have said above just equal distance from centre balance point or not and just fit there.

Thanks, sorry if sounding a bit dumb, i sort of think its that same as i would balance an rc car but in that its more fine tunning with corner weights and adjustments where this is more the general balancing needed for now, then tweak later, so same as an race car move the weight to get balance centre of the car or where i want it.

I have read some bits on here but wanted to ask my question for a more personal reply if you get me.
    Photos will come soon.

It is easy enough to find the balance point of the top frame and it should be done with you in it and all peripherals attached: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-of-gravity-to-balance-a-motion-simulator.55/

It can be done electronically with a visual display: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/motor-current-sensing-for-balance.376/

Think of it like a seesaw balancing with an uneven load each end, the greater mass is closer to the balance point while the less mass is further away. But the force at the equal length end to move it will be the same.
