    Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to setup a 2DOF platform using 3phase motors & Movitrac LT-E inverters. I have a K8055 board here and am wondering if I can control the inverters with this board. The inverters require a digital input to select either forward or reverse on the motors, and an analogue input (0-10v) for speed control.

The 3Phase motors have pots connected to the output shaft for positioning. I have connected these to the 8055 board (after doing the wiring mod listed on this forum) and can see/calibrate the pots in Profiler. So as i manually move the motors, the reference input calibration value changes (0% - 100%) . So I think im on the right track here.

This is where im stumped. How can profiler output to the 8055 to control forward/reverse & speed?

I normally use SCN5 actuators with my motion gear which is nice and easy, but want to try and learn something different.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

    Gaz
