    Hello everyone.
After four months of hard work is finally almost finished my simulator.
I want to say thank you very much Thanos for controller design, and software!
All that you see in the photos, taken with my own hands, except the steering wheel, pedals and gearbox.
The simulator is mainly made from 18 millimeter plywood, chair of the 6 millimeter plywood.
Viper motors are located in front of the platform.
All the electronics in the rear.
Works simulator from 200 W power supply at 14 volts.

The cost of its establishment is only 400 dollars
Here's a final view of the simulator should be.

    Great!

    Hello Deriy and welcome!

    One word: AWESOME!

Very creative, compact and cost effective! Very well done!

Do you use springs under to help the wiper motors? I would like to see pictures of the mechanical construction under the seat.

    Thanks for the good reviews.
There are no springs to help the motors I do not use.
It works thanks to a literate balancing platform.
Current engines that consume less than 8 amps.
After two hours, the temperature of motors 45-50 C degrees.
Photos will lay out the mechanics later.
Ps. As a translator from Russian into English using google translator.
    Advance apologies for grammatical errors.

    Awesome and creative indeed!

I am looking forward to place a video of your simulator in the forum video banner. But you have to work out your motion profile a little more, at first.
And please use just game sounds in your next video. Thanks

    Regards

Which effects are you using in the Profiler btw?
Longitudinal g-force effects seem to be missing.

You also shown that the amplitude of motion is not enough?
However, I was at this time it was fully satisfied. I measured the amplitude.
She's as if I used the actuators to 100mm.
Over time, try moving the motors, and increase the movement of the platform.

    In Profier I using Lateral force,Longitudinal force,Vertical force,Gear rumble effect,Pich and Yaw.
Tested simulator so far only in the Live for Speed, GTR tvolution, GRID and 'Richard Burns Rally'.
I very happy with the result! Now get more feeling from their favorite games.
It is a pity that we can not in GT5 Prologue play with this controller!

    Great work!

I cannot believe you used the leg of a wheelchair as your base. Genius! :D

Can you explain the wooden part in the front that has the golden hinges? (right side of your pictures) What does it do?

This section restricts the rotations around the vertical axis.
looks complicated, but the main thing that works..................

It is not complicated and makes perfect sense now. I didn't know that the main support can freely rotate..

You can limit rotation in many different ways but this seems to be fairly simple and cost effective.

Again, very impressive job! Great use of cheap materials and the construction looks very solid and capable!

    I'm an artist by education.
According to this design for me is very important.
The simulator should not only perform their functions, but also aesthetically pleasing look inside the interior.
This is a video in one archive. http://webfile.ru/4455107
And this is one of the first sketches of the simulator.

    Great design congr. :)

Do you think putting the LCD on the platform too ?
How much weight can it carry ?

i also like the idea of seperating the pot from motor :)

No, LCD on the platform will not do.
    No reason.
My weight 110 kg. And as you can see motors successfully cope.

It's just luck that got caught Potentiometers with such a small angle.
Otherwise I would have to do like everyone else.
While also had to think twice.
