After a long waiting to complete the material, Thanks to Sir Simon of the simukit.com for providing me most of the materials. I'm finally starting to build my 2Dof using the wiper motor. Below is the list of materials I bought.

    1. Two (2) 12V Wiper Motor
    2. One (1) Sabertooth Dual 12x32A Brushed DC Motor Speed Controller
    3. One (1) Arduino Uno R3
    4. One (1) Power Supply 12V 30A 360W
    5. Four (4) RF10C Ball Joint sucket M10 (from simukit.com)
    6. Two (2) Gear 50 teeth (from simukit.com)
    7. Two (2) Gear 20 teeth (from simukit.com)
    8. Two (2) Potentiometer FCP22E 10K without mechanical stop (from simukit.com)
    9. One (1) Emergency Stop (from simukit.com)

I'm using the schematic diagram and model as seen in the photo attached herewith.

The question is it is necessary nor needed to include the resistance? If yes, what kind?

I'm not an electrically oriented that's why I'm confusing with the right wire to be used for the wiper motor hence my motor is plenty of wires, and also about the isolation of the motor, I've already seen here in the a forum about the isolation, but also confusing where do I solder the wire to the brush, my motor has a 3 brush, it is ok after I cut each wire (from brush connected to the body) then soldering only on 1 brush? (SEE BELOW PHOTOS)

Hoping to guide me & thanks in advance.

Hi @noorbeast, I wonder why there's no movement with the motors. I'm using this code XPID_SimTools1_6_4motors_2x32_serial_Uno and the schematic diagram (see below picture attached). I've built before a 3DoF with the same codes and it works perfectly. https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/3dof-flight-simulator.13448/page-2. It's the same codes I used, that's why I'm so confused why this thing not working. I've also done with the ground isolation is recommended. any suggestion nor recommendation to work this out?

    Thank you in advance.

The code I mentioned above was from Wanegain's, earlier @noorbeast suggestion thru PM:

"I would suggest you use SMC3 for Sabertooth: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...ket-serial-pid-motor-driver-for-arduino.9277/

But if you want to troubleshoot your existing code have you covered the basics, like installing the required Arduino libraries: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...th-simukits-solution.11465/page-2#post-150865"

Thanks to @noorbeast for his quick respond. Im gonna try his suggestion. :thumbs

I finally figured out what cause the problem, My Arduino Uno has a "L" blinking light. Is there any way to fix this?

I've replace temporarily my Arduino Uno using with the old one I used for my 3DoF and the result was this.

Now, it is clearly that the Arduino itself has a problem. The code I used was the same with my 3DoF project, its from Wanegain's code: XPID_SimTools1_6_4motors_2x32_serial_Uno

Oh, I got it now. The Arduino Uno is not a board faulty. It's my bad. I knew the cause of "L" Led blinking light. I only verifying the code instead of uploading to the arduino itself. :roll:roll:blush:blush Now It's working. :thumbs

Hello, It's nice to be back :), finally have time to continue my project. Below is the platform I've made, Yes it's similar to other projects here, Hence I don't have any ideas and besides that also fits my project. The video showing the progress, it's not done yet but I'm thrilled to share it. :)

A friend of mine, usually building a platform for his rig (see pictures below), but not in motion. So he came up to share his platform to use on my project "Thanks to him". :)

But, I decided to replace the motor using the stepper motor with worm gear NEMA23 Ratio 20:1 RV030 2Nm, 24V (see picture below), bought it from Alibaba for about USD 121.41 for 2 units, including the shipping.

In my thorough search, I can't find any project using the same motor as mine. Some others using that motor but in the DIY liner. Is there's anybody to share it with me?

Sir @noorbeast is there any possibility that I can use that motor? (I hope because I already bought the motors) huhuhu :(, are those possible also to use with the sabertooth, or do I need a stepper motor driver/controller? If can be used for the sabertooth, do I need a specific code for the stepper motor?

Also, I was confused with the wiring, it consists of 4 wires in different colors. How can I find the - & + on it? nor that all wires are needed to properly function that motor? Sorry to ask, because I'm not as good when it comes to wiring :(

    Hoping for your kind assistance.

    Thank you in advance :)
