A few months ago there was a guy who just had a little too much time...the summer was gone, also all the karting challenges at outside tracks for this season. There was dark, cold and wet outside and the nights inside at home were just too long...the guy desided to get some action for the long nights.
He had a kart chassis at his carage, a chassis that he had been racing with all summer...got an idea to keep it warm at this winter time too. So he build it up to a gaming rig, just added something to it...like a new steering wheel, pedals, some bass-shakers, some sound etc...

Here You can see and get the idea how it ended up then ( yes, sorry, clip is quite dark...but so was the night... )

Well, after some gaming sessions, parties and nights the guy started to dream about some movements too to the next "rig" . He did some google-things, and ended up to some Very interesting sites and forums....like this here :)
It didn't take a long time before he had ordered some needed stuff...like Arduino and Motomonster shields, something to build up a pivot, PSU, pots etc...

Started building, mostly step by step with the great tutorial from racingmat and by reading all those topics at the forums. Got something to do with all the wireings, pot installings, rod conficurations etc, but after a while he had a moving "rig"-proto .

Some tests showed there is a movement ! Don't have an idea if it's ok or not, but it still is a movement however ;)

Next step to study about Simtools and settings, after that some tuning to the "rig" to get it look more like a rig than just a prototype like it does so far... We'll see what comes up ;)

And btw, the guy in the story...it was me, a total newbie with these sim-things :)

Great project and use of the karting frame @wpjartsa, thanks for posting the photos and pictures.

You may find the CV used as a pivot allows for some torsional twist, as most do. If so you can add a stabilizer bar to stop it.

I am looking forward to following your build thread.

What about 4 axis using a Kart and a ram to each corner instead of wheels or maybe mounted to the wheels?

Certainly possible, just remove the Karts motor to lighten it up a bit and then clamp a dampener assisted actuator on each corner of the frame - done, but you would not be using wiper motors:).
