Unfortunately I don´t have any space to place a Motion SimRig. But when i stumpled accross all this awesome projects I wasn´t able to get it out of my mind. I wanted to test all this stuff out to be well prepared when I will have the space. So I decided to build a 1:10 model of a Motion SimRig just to see how good it will work. And to have a model to show to friends when I ask them, whether I could use their Garage or basement ;-) And of course because building something is FUN...

Here is what I got so far:

    - Arduino UNO with SMC33 running on it
    - A simple H-Bridge MotorController
    - 5V Motors with Gears that turn down to 200rpm
    - 10k Potentiometers (no hall, they were to expensive for just a model)
    - a few 3D-printed Parts connecting Motors with Potis
(I will add some links when I am allowed to do so)

And believe it or not, with SMC3 this is working really well. Its not the smoothest Motion but already fun to see it work...

Nice project, I hope you will get space for full size motion SimRig soon :). I'm building my own 3 dof motion Rig and it gives me a lot of fun. Good luck
